Welcome Students!
The Psychological Clinical Science Accreditation System (PCSAS) is an accreditation body that is based on a clinical science training model. This model emphasizes the integration of rigorous scientific research training and evidence-based practice to advance our understanding of mental health for all.
As a student, graduating from a PCSAS-accredited institution can open doors to a quality education, first-rate research and clinical experiences, and a large network of professionals in the field. Whether you aspire to become a clinical psychologist researcher, practitioner, or one of the many other possible clinical science professions, training at a PCSAS-accredited program equips you with the knowledge and resources to excel in the career path you choose. We hope you will join us in shaping the future of clinical science!
On January 26, 2024, Dr. Joanne Davila (President of the PCSAS Board of Directors) and Dr. Joe Steinmetz (PCSAS Executive Directors) held a Town Hall with several PCSAS student representatives to discuss PCSAS and answer questions the students posed about PCSAS. A link to a recording of the Town Hall can be found here.
